This is my best guitar work. Three guitar tracks: one barre chords with a little distortion, one big muff, one clean. Some fun moments with bass, too. And it's a cute little song, too. I was in a band when I wrote this song, and the drummer didn't want to play it because she said it was "grooveless." Oh well. I'm still a little too ok with playing everything myself anyway...
Can I step in your sunshine, baby, can I stay for a while?
I saw you in my dream last night and I woke up with a smile
You don't know how long I've been wanting you, watching you from behind
Where exactly do you come from? You really blow my mind
I try to touch you, but you're so unreachable, and I thought I could find
Some kind of connection from my heart to yours, but now is not the time
So keep on rocking; I'll keep on dreaming that our paths will cross again
And until your world meets mine my darlin my song will never end
Another night after another tomorrow, only time will give it away
Yesterday's broken hearts are better now, much better off today
So give me rhyme or reason, show me, keep me up all night
We're gonna live so long, baby everything's gone, I got your image still shining bright
